If you’ve never been to the Strawberry Festival now is the time! What could be better then strawberry funnel cake, chocolate dipped strawberries and strawberry shortcake? That is the usual strawberry fare. How about strawberry nachos, deep-fried strawberries and even strawberry popcorn (just to name a few)! There are over 50 food booths to choose from!
The festival is more than just walking around eating strawberries. There are contest like Strawberry Tart Toss, Strawberry Pie Eating Contest, a Strawberry Relay, Berry Best Dressed Baby Contest.
Are you thinking, what is a festival without music? Well, the Strawberry Festival now has 3 stages For their 35th Anniversary weekend they expanded the festival grounds by 50%. There is more room to dance and tap your feet to the music!
There is plenty to do with the little ones! Check out the Strawberryland Kids Theatre with puppet shows and magic shows. They also have Carnival Rides and Inflatable Rides!
You can also enjoy shopping at the Arts & Crafts booths where there are close to 200 artists and crafters showcasing their original works including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, children’s toys, jewelry, and more.
The Festival is located at Strawberry Meadows of Collage Park at 3250 South Rose Avenue in Oxnard.
Use the Free Park n Ride Strawberry Express Shuttle Service to avoid traffic delays and parking fees. The shuttles have direct access to get you to the festival fast and you can save up to $10 in parking. Pick up and drop offs run about every 15-20 minutes. The first shuttle starts at 9:30am and the last shuttle leaves the festival at 7:00pm.
Shuttle locations include the Camarillo Premium Outlets, Topa Financial Towers, Oxnard Transportation Center, Santa Clara High School and Channel Islands Harbor.
